Footsteps Counselling and Care
You can support our work

The counselling provided by Footsteps Counselling and Care is free at the point of delivery as we do not want anyone excluded due to their financial circumstances.

All the counsellors and other supporters are volunteers but there are other costs involved. For instance we are organisational members of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and abide by their ethical code. This requires that all the counsellors have clinical supervision regularly and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) The Trustees feel that it is important that people access counselling as soon as possible without the worry of whether or not they can afford it especially as early help following a loss or trauma seems to prevent an escalation of problems.

Much of our funding comes from our Charity Shop on Westgate Street in Gloucester. Please do pop in to say hi or bring along some items you no longer need for us to sell.

We are super grateful of any donations, you can send us a cheque, set up a bankers order for monthly giving, pop into the shop to buy some bargains or drop in some cash, donate via our MyDonate page or why not set up your own fundraising event? Can you bake? Run? Want to abseil, swim a mile or hold a car boot? Get in touch!

We also have an eBay shop where you can find a bargain or even sell your own stuff on our behalf, you don't even have to drop stuff in! Just go here and pop 'Footsteps' in the search box and away you go!
